John Maina who was fired by 2NK Matatu SACCO for reporting misbehaving students has finally been honoured by Nyeri County governor Mutahi Kahiga to work as a driver in his county. The driver's decision to report the students at the nearest police station was received negatively by his former employer who inturn fired him from work.[Photo Courtesy]
Kenyans complained alot because of what 2NK SACCO had done and even threatened to boycott their services. Despite the fact that 2NK SACCO did not recall him back to work, Kenyans joined hands to pray for him so that he can get a job that is of more value than that of 2NK.
The prayers have been answered and he wil now be among the drivers based at Nyeri County. He will drive cars that probably he never drove before. The salary at the county government will somehow be good compared to that of 2NK SACCO.
The SACCO has lost something that will cost them in future. They have lost a responsible driver and also some of their customers who boycotted their services. Kenyans have therefore congratulated him saying that God's time is always the best.
