Few weeks after the story of driver Muthoni Maina became viral, now the former 2NK Sacco driver has a reason to celebrate. Muthoni claimed to lose his job for his kindness character of reporting drug abusers. Now the county government of Nyeri has scheduled to offer this driver a job under his profession, in the county department. It is a directive that has been received with gratitude by Kenyans as they commend the governor's efforts.In.addition individuals also congratulated the driver for his boldness and passion to deal with crime. It is however courtesy of his drug abuse awareness, that governor Mutahi promised him a job. However the government should establish more strategies to deal with drug abuse in the country, especially among the youths. This is through embracing strict rules on drug abuse as well as subjecting the drug dealers to legal authority. However what is your view regarding Nyeri county government offering a job to driver Muthoni? Kindly share your comments.
