Tourism Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza revoked appointments of journalist Najma Ismail, blogger Pauline Njoroge and 3 others as members of the Tourism Regulatory Authority board. The revocation was communicated via Gazette Notice Number 2888 dated 9th March.

Two days ago, Najma Ismail who has been working for the Mombasa Road-based media outlet, Standard Media Group, for about a decade called it quits.
The talented Hijabi journalist was famed for hailing matters woman and girls empowerment in her reporting. Her main focus was on feminism. She however did not disclose her next assignment. After being fired by Cabinet Secretary Peninah Malonza and quiting KTN, who will be Najma's next employer? Let's wait and see.
