Last elections Nairobi gubernatorial aspirant, Richard Ngatia secured an international job days after touring the US with President William Ruto, Trade Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria, Foreign affairs CS Alfred Mutua and Treasury CS Njuguna Ndung'u on December 17.
Richard was in the race of becoming the fourth Nairobi governor under the Azimio party, but he stepped down for Igathe. However, he is still the president of the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
After he revealed the news, the president congratulated him, claiming that his appointment is an advantage to Kenya. "We congratulate the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry and its Chairman, Richard Ngatia for the appointment and co-option into the International Chamber of Commerce,” he stated.
Mr Ngatia had hopes of bagging a position in the trade sector since he thought Raila would be the Head of State. However, he has still received good news after his new job.
