With the increasing number of cases of houselps doing chaos in their bosses' house and mistreating children, many people have feared hiring nannies to take care of their kids.
House girls also have feared looking for nanny jobs as some bosses also mistreat them to the extent of leaving with no food and even not paying them the money they have worked for.
However the case is different for one lady by the name Sharon Makokha who has narrated her story on till on the tales of Wanjiku. The lady who was interviewed by Lynn confessed that her boss is one in a million and she is that angel sent to her by God.
Sharon who has gone through many problems in her life such as being neglected by father, having to sleep in the streets of Nairobi while seeking a job, miscarriages and lose of her firstborn son said that the boss by the name Mercy Kihiu is more than family to her.
This is because when she had a miscarriage Mercy stood by her by footing her hospital bills and also helping cater for her son's burial. The boss also went an extra mile to hire a counsellor who would help Sharon cope with the stress that she was going through. Despite having paid all the expenses her boss would still pay salary in full even when she was not working for her.
While she was being interviewed on Tuko she really blessed her boss and which that God continues to lift her and the family from one level to another, that she and her children will never lack.
Sharon's advice to all bosses getting househelps out there was that they should treat their househelps well and avoid discriminating them by seeing them as outsiders.
