Over the mid term break, a Nyeri matatu driver under the 2NK sacco braved up and drove some rowdy students to a nearby police station after they were indulging in drugs and substance abuse.
Later on, the 2NK sacco sacked the driver under unknown circumstances. According to reliable reports, the driver, John Maina Muthoni has been employed in the County government of Nyeri County after meeting with gvn Mutahi Kahiga.
The reports claim that after the governor summoned the sacked driver, be was offered a massive job which he will start immediately.
"Nyeri Governor Mutahi Kahiga offers a job to John Maina Muthoni, formerly of 2NK, a heroic driver who courageously reported students upon realizing that they were smoking bhang and drinking alcohol.
Kahiga said that Muthoni will be offered a position as a driver in the County Government of Nyeri." The reports stated.
