The teachers service commission has come out to speak on the ongoing promotion interviews. The commission has been conducting the teacher interviews from across the country in different centres.
The commission seeks to promote close to 15,000 teachers. The promotion will rely on the career progression guidelines as stipulated by the TSC.
Through its twitter account, the commission noted that it was happy with the ongoing promotion interviews which has been going on for the fourth day now. The interviews are taking place in 48 centres across the country.
The commission has wished the teachers attending these interviews all the best and promised to fast track the appointments of all the candidates who will be successful.
The commission announced these promotions after most teachers had cried having stagnated in their job groups for many years.
The advertised promotions have come as a reprieve to teachers as they eye promotions now.
