The former Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (I.E.B.C) commissioner Dr. Roselyn Akombe has landed into a top international job. This comes after she came back to Kenya after she flew after the 2013 general election,

Roselyn Akombe has been appointed as the new Chief of Peacebuilding Strategy and Partnerships at the United Nations Department of Political and Peacebuilding Affairs.

This body helps to monitor and assess the global political developments. The main aim is to detect potential crises and coming up with effective responses.

The Department is also responsible of supporting the United Nations Secretary General and his envoys in their peace initiatives. It also helps the United Nation political missions around the world. This means that Roselyn Akombe will be one of the most recognized Kenyans in peace building within the world. We congratulate Akombe for landing in that top international job.
