Story Of A Kenyan Man Who Quit Medical Job And Joined Truck Driving, Now Earning 170k Weekly In Us

An interesting story of a Kenyan who is being paid thousands of money for driving trucks.

Samwel Mulwa travelled to US and started working in the medical field. However, he was forced to quit the job as his friends advised him to join truck driving industry. He attended a programme that took him five weeks at a trucking school. This coated him a total of ksh 447,000. He thereafter was given a trainer to train him on some of the basics trucking skills that were not taught at school.

After gaining enough knowledge and skills on trucking, Samwel started officially working as a truck Driver. He is now a happy man Ashe earns an average of ksh 178,000 per week. His pay rises as he continues to stay in the field and gets more experience.

He However noted that there are some challenges associated with truck driving such as driving over long distances
