"I Was a Matatu Tout Before I Went to Saudi Arabia, I Don't Regret Working as Househelp" Lady Claims

Catherine Muthoni was a matatu tout in Kenya before she got a househelp job in Saudi Arabia and she does not regret working as a househelp in that country because it changed her life.

Catherine got pregnant immediately after form four and her baby daddy abandoned her when she was only five months pregnant leaving her with no other option but to take care of her child alone.

She claims that she was a matatu tout before she got a househelp job and this really helped her alot because she managed to provide for her kid although she earned less money.

Many are times when Kenyan ladies complain of being mistreated after traveling to Saudi Arabia to work as a househelp but according to Catherine, that was the best opportunity she ever got.

Her bosses treated her well and she was allowed to use her mobile phone throughout. She claims that sometimes, she used to communicate with her family through her bosses phone.

Catherine has managed to put up a business for her mother, educate her sister and also planning to start her own shoe business with the money she earned in Saudi Arabia.

Catherine claims she will not be going back to Saudi Arabia due to her mother's health. She also claims that not all bosses in Saudi Arabia are bad some are friendly.
