Vivian Otieno and her twin brother Allan Otieno are both employed by Prisons Department. While Vivian is a Chief Inspector, Allan is a Constable due to the fact that she was employed an year before her twin brother.
Vivian and his twin brother Allan are celebrating their 29th birthday today. Speaking to one of our sources Vivian took a trip down the memory lane to the days of growing up in their Masalla Village.
According to her it was during those early years that they fell in love with working in the disciplined forces and started to working towards charting a career in the same.With the eye on the price, the twins put their ears on the ground for the upcoming police recruitments.
Separated at recruitment Vivian adds that she was recruited in 2015 while her twin brother joined a year later something they both relish."My brother got the first recruitment in the Administration Police(AP) which was later nullified after they reported," she continued.
She revealed it was not an easy period knowing that she has made it through yet her twin brother was still out in the cold. Somehow the siblings always held hope that they would re-unite back again and it did not take long till the become a reality.
A year after her sister was absorbed, Allan took a second stab at the dream career at this time, luck smiled as he was among those picked.In their experience of working in the same career Vivian disclosed that it was challenging and at the same time exciting.
"Challenging because I have a higher rank than him so he has to salute me whenever I'm on official duties," she said.She is however quick to express that Allan always positive and happy with his job regardless of different ranks.
