We have seen people around us succeed and we also want to succeed. Not that the people who have succeeded are better than you are, they have only discovered how to do things differently and this has helped them reach where they are. You can also do the same if you drop some of your habits and replace them with some good habits.

Below are some of the habits you should drop if you want to be successful.

1. Stop making excuses. Excuses earn you nothing and people hate hearing excuses. Instead find a solution to overcome whatever you are facing to your benefit. You should not even give excuse to yourself. Excuses only make you weak.

2. Sitting and waiting for things to just happen. In the world we live in today, you earn what you work for. You can not just seat and expect to have what you want, it will never happen. Make yourself useful by working. Winners go after what they want but not sitting and waiting for it to come to their hands.

3. Stop complaining about everything and instead look for solutions. Complains add no value to your life and no one wants to hear you complain. Even when you are having challenges, stop complaining and move on.

4. Stop saying yes to everything. Saying no is acceptable and it is your choice to choose what you want to say. Be confident to say NO when you think it is the best answer. Being an all yes person won't take you far.

5. Stop fearing to fail. Many people fear failing but the truth is that failure is not bad. Many of the successful people you see around you failed several times before the succeeded. Failure is a lesson in your life and it will help you a lot.
