Rift Valley region county commissioner, Natembeya, has confirmed that the county has received a boost after the recruitment and subsequent deployment of 200 new assistant county commissioners. This is after the government revived administration units which have been unoccupied.
However, the new Bomet Central Assistant County Commissioner has really shocked many people due to her latest post. This is because many people believe that the post is supposed to be held by people of older age.
Rehema Kiteto is an Egerton University 2019 graduate with a degree in sociology and English literature. 200 newly recruited Assistant County Commissioners (ACCs) that the government.According to her, she has always been fascinated by the service of people. It is her passion. And leadership is about service, which I have been a part of all my life.
Kateto has held numerous positions in her short time, including working as a print journalist with the Standard Media Group in Nakuru County.She has also served as the Kazi Mtaani supervisor and Kwale Youth Assembly deputy speaker in Kwale County.
She's therefore expected to help in the mobilisation of those who have not collected the crucial identification documents which are needed in voter registration ahead of next year's general election.
