A rising number of Engineering Graduates in Kenya drawn from different fields of Engineering, have resorted to software Development inorder to fend for themselves and earn a living.
This comes as the government is unable to hire and employ most of them, and while most get employed in the private sector, the remainder who are quite a number are forced to curve their own path.
It is this range of knowledge in different types of software, that enables most Engineers transition seamlessly to Development of Software. Some have ventured into creation of android and iOS applications, others have been hired as consultants in digitally designing machines while some have gone into automation of systems via electronically connected devices.
It should also be noted that a good majority of Engineers, are getting into the rapidly growing field of robotics, with some generating bots that can be used to trade and do online bidding of jobs and opportunities available online.
