Prior to general elections, many politicians have been making big promises. Like the current Jubilee government promised many things including laptops and other big things but they haven't delivered as expected and as the country heads to the 2022 general election, top politicians like Raila Odinga and Deputy President William Ruto have been going round the nation making big promises.
Just recently, Raila Odinga surprised Kenyans after he promised that his government will create enough jobs to the people but to those who will remain jobless, then he will have to give then a monthly stipend of Sh 6,000. That is a big promise that left many people discussing and debating about it but he still went on and promised to give youths jobs in his cabinet.
In the midst of all that, Raila Odinga has yet made another big promise ahead of 2022 poll. According to reports, the former Prime Minister has stated that he will provide free sanitary towels to all the women in the country.
"Sanitary towels are essential for all females. This time we will not select a certain age group or background to deploy such an essential product to women. Every woman will get assessed for it in all public toilets." Said Raila Odinga.
