The seasoned old yet young radio presenter Fred Obachi Machokaa said that each Kenyan millionaire should have five people they have employed and whom they pay. He said that this would help solve unemployment in Kenya. According to him, any Kenyan millionaire who has not employed at least five people he/she is worthless " Bila Hiyo Wewe Ni Bure."
Fred Obachi posted on his Facebook account a post that triggered positive reactions from people. This was May 1 st as people celebrated the Labour Day.
"If you are a Kenyan millionaire and you don't have at least five workers you pay, wewe ni bure tu (you are just worthless)," he wrote.
Well Kenyans with their excitement trooped into his inbox with some saying that five workers is even a small number for millionaire s.
John Kaloki said:"Thank you, uncle Fred, now I know that I should employ at least a few workers, house girls, gardener, cleaner, car wash, shopkeeper, driver, manager, secretary."
Vincent Ouma Wabuti wrote: "True am a hustler but I pay my boys on time may God continue blessings me."
Edwin Nyamache noted: "I have three workers but I earn some thousands. I salute you uncle Fred you have created so much employment in Fred ranch in Isinya very commendable."
This are some few reactions from Kenyans on his post on Facebook.
However, in recent past Evans Kulutu a Facebook fan had urged his to resign because he had outlived his career. Obachi responded to the fan suggesting he should mind his own business and let him be.
Well those who have been blessed in this life should be blessings to others. Just imagine if all millionaires in our country employed people proportionally, then we live without corruption, poverty could be behind bars.
