KTN is reeling from losing one of the best investigative journalists in the country after Brian Obuya called it quits on Friday, September 3 at the popular broadcasting TV station after close to six years of service.
Obuya penned a farewell message to the media house and his colleagues for the opportunity they granted him to serve and learn and acknowledged he was leaving KTN with bags of experience related to his line of duty.
Even though he did not disclose his next move, there is every chance that he could be featuring on the screens again after he appeared to hint that he would be back soon.
"I have today left KTN News after a fruitful six years. Thank you for being a great audience and big motivation. See you soon, I take this opportunity to thank you all. It has been five years full of learning experiences for the work we have done and even what we plan to do, today (Friday) has been my last day here at Standard Group. I'm leaving a better and more experienced person than when I joined." Obuya said.
Brian was credited for his eye-catching expose's like 'Inside Kenya's Piracy World right at the heart of the capital city' which focused on the threat to the country's education system.
