CBK Announces Recruitment For Youths, Check Out Requirements, Application Procedure And Deadline

Central Bank of Kenya, CBK, has announced internship opportunities for youths between the age of 21 to 29 who posses bachelor degree in various fields from recognized institutions.

The program will take six months and it aims to enable or rather give opportunities to the participants to acquire work experience.

The fields required include: Banking and finance, economics, statistics, financial management, microfinance, social sciences, accounting, law or related field. Masters degree in the mentioned field will be considered.

In addition to the above requirements, those seeking to be considered for the internship position should have the following qualifications. Should be a Kenyan between 21 and 29 years of age. Must have graduated within the last 24 months from the closing date of the advertisement and/or awaiting graduation.

Applicants should have a recommendation/reference letter from the university attended and should not have undertaken any other Internship Program or been exposed to work experience related to their area of study since graduating.

Personal Attributes

a ) Should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills

b ) Must be goal-oriented, focused, dynamic, passionate, and self-motivated

c ) Must be a team player and have the ability to solve problems

d ) Should possess high levels of integrity and professionalism

e ) Must be computer proficient.

How To Apply

Those interested in the internship positions are required to submit their online applications through the CBK careers portal.

In the online portal, they are required to attach a duly filled application form, copies of academic certificates, transcripts/documents, and a recommendation/reference letter from their learning institution.

The application deadline has been slated for September 23, 2021.
