The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) receives bad news as the Members of Parliament drops this message. The Teachers Service Commission has been at the forefront to see that teachers in this country have received promotions whenever the need arises, equally the Teachers Service Commission ensures that teachers have received their salaries in time. Actually the Teachers Service Commission is mandated by the constitution of Kenya to employ teachers whenever the shortage of teachers is experienced in schools. Therefore the Teachers Service Commission has been having hope to offer teachers salary increment in 2021-2025 Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).
The Teachers Service Commission has now received bad news as MPs drop another message again. The lawmakers now sink Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) pay review bid for civil servants and teachers. The Teachers Service Commission had been hoping the Commission's review of the Salaries to offer teachers salary pay rise. Therefore this sounds as bad news especially to the Teachers Service Commission.
