It is true that all dreams are valid, all we need to achieve our dreams is sustained efforts and a strong will to win. Leah Wambui finished high school and passed very well, her dreams of joining University were not possible because she was unable to raise the fees that was required.(courtesy of Kenyans.co.ke).
Leah who was an orphan at age of 16 years, decided to look for a work and by goodluck, she landed into a receptionist job through the help of a relative. She didn't knew that this will be her life changing job. After saving some small amount of money, Wambui quited the job, and started a small liquor store in Kiambu, with the help of her aunt.
Over years Wambui kept own working hard and smart as she saves the small profits she makes, until the year 2015, when she purchased a 5 acre land in Kitengela.
She decided to establish a real estate in that land, and that was the beginning of Cheriz Properties Limited. The real estate company has 200 houses, and each unit goes at Ksh. 15million. Wambui said that it has not been an easy journey, it took her years to be a multimillionaire. She together with her husband had to sell their house and add some money to be able to purchase the and fund the building of the first 10 houses.
Wambui said that prayers and self sacrifices are the ones that have kept her going, and she thank almighty God and everyone who has been supportive to her. Indeed there is always light at the end of the tunnel.
