Mombasa gubernatorial race is heating up day after day. Various high profile leaders in the county are strategizing to succeed the incumbent governor Hon. Hassan Joho whose term in office comes to an end in 2022. One of the aspirant is Mombasa businessman Mr. Suleiman Shahbal. He will compete with other elected leaders in the county led by Mvita member of parliament.
Today the influential businessman awarded his young mentees from Kisauni constituency. The gubernatorial aspirant handed over certificates to Kisauni youths who participated in his mentorship and leadership training. This mentorship and training program aims at equipping the youths with necessary skills in different areas of leadership.
The participants were drawn form five wards of Kisauni constituency. The wards includes: Junda, Magogoni, Mjambere, Shanzu and Bamburi wards. The participants enrolled this programs sponsored by Suleiman Shahbal foundation. The businessman promised to continue supporting youths of Mombasa county.
Last week the gubernatorial aspirant launched bike ride to empower youths of Mombasa county. He urged other private organizations to partner with him in empowering youths to earn income in an honest way.
