Meet Former K24 TV News Anchor Who Has Completely Changed Careers From Media To Aviation Industry

It is no secret that as human beings we always get the urge to change careers at certain stages of our lives.

Infact reports estimate that an average person will change careers between 5 to 7 times in the course of their working life.

These changes may be influenced by many factors among them being change in passion, need for a new challenge, being not happy where you are currently and the desire to focus on other things e.t.c.

Well for former K24 TV news anchor Karen Karimi Knaust, she has also changed her career completely. However her reason for the change isn't the ones named above.

As many may well remember the COVID-19 pandemic badly affected many sectors of the economy in 2020, and the top media houses in the country weren't spared.

The company where she worked for i.e Mediamax Limited also took a hit, and it had to fire almost the entire newsroom in a retrenchment exercise.

Among the top journalists who were affected were Rose Gakuo, Nancy Onyancha, Caren Kibett, Joab Mwaura, Tony Kwalanda, Eric Njoka, Friend Indimuli and Karen Karimi among many others.

However in a recent Q&A session the sassy queen disclosed that she is now working at one of the aviation companies in the country.

Also unlike in K24 TV where she used to turn up only to anchor Prime Time news bulletins, she now works for 8 hours i.e from 9 AM to 5 PM.
