Azimio spokesperson Makau Mutua has resigned from his previous role as the chairman for Kenya Human Rights Commission (KHRC).
Kenya Human Rights commission announced that Makau Mutua has stepped down as the chairman of the commission so that he can concentrate on his Azimio campaigns.Makau Mutua was appointed as Azimio spokesperson in March this year by Raila Odinga.
KHRC has then replaced Makau Mutua with Davinder Lamba after Mutua resigned.Lamba will take.over as the interim chair replacing Mutua until when the commission will find someone to replace Prof Makau Mutua.
In a letter released to the public by KHRC,they said they chose on Lamba because he has been a member of the Commission for a longer time and again he has quality education because he studied environmental science from Toronto University and they believe he can do this work perfectly.
Makau Mutua will never have to fully engage in Azimio politics have been relieved his extra duties.
