Around one month after Tourism cabinet secretary Najib Balala revoked the appointment of Pauline Njoroge as board director of Tourism Regulatory Authority, a screenshot has surfaced online, showing that she never lost the position.
In the screenshot, one of her followers questioned about her appointment to the Tourism Regulatory Authority. Pauline replied that the appointment still stands.
"Oh, the recent appointment? It stands. I am board director at The Tourism Regulatory Authority." She replied.
It is still unclear how Pauline Njoroge's appointment still stands, even after Balala released a press statement stating that Pauline's appointment had been revoked after her past Facebook post showing that she once advocated for abolishment of Nairobi National Park resurfaced online. Balala reportedly appointed Standard Group journalist Najma Ismail to the board after revoking Pauline Njoroge's appointment.
Pauline Njoroge might have gone to court to resist the revocation especially after Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko insisted that the revocation was undemocratic and against Pauline's freedom of expression and opinion.
