Amount Of Money That Safaricom Chair Receives As Sitting Allowance For Every Session

Safaricom is the largest telecommunications services provider in Kenya which boasts ownership of 63.7 percent of Kenyan market shares as of September this year. It was founded in 1997 as an asset company to Telkom Kenya.

It was later taken over by a British telecommunications company , Vodafone which is regarded as the worlds best performing . The name Safaricom was consequently coined at the same year to give the company an attractive and African outlook .

Since its inception, Safaricom has been led by several experts who have enabled it to rise to its current level .One such personality is Michel Joseph who acted as the interim CEO from September 2019 to April 2020 following the untimely demise of Joseph Collymore .

Michael Joseph is the incumbent Chairperson of Safaricom . According to Tuko News , the later receives a stunning amount of Kenyan Shillings 85000 as sitting allowance for every session .
