How To Get Your Kenyan Passport Easily In 10 Days- All You Need To Know

You can renew, upgrade or apply for your passport and pay for it online. You 're going to have to fill out a form at the end. You must sign and date the form, add any documentation or photos that you need, and return them for processing. You 're going to pay using mobile money, credit, debit cards and online banking from local banks. It should take at least 10 working days to receive your first passport once your document has been formally submitted to the Immigration Office. It should take at least 5 working days for all other forms of applications. It may take longer if more information is required or your application has not been completed correctly.


1) Go and register on website

2) In the site, go to the Department of immigration services section or and click on the passport application form.

3) Fill in the application form after reading the instructions carefully.

4) Select your preferred mode of payment and make your payment.

5) Download and print the application form and 3 application receipts.

6) Go to the Immigration offices in your town and submit your application form in person ( Nyayo house, Mombasa, Nakuru & Kisumu).


When submitting you forms to the immigration personnel. Yo will need the following:

a) An eCitizen pre-filled passport application form and three receipts.

b) Original birth certificate and photocopy.

c) Original National ID Card & copy.

d) Three Current passport size photos.

e) Recommender’s ID Card copy.

f) Consent letter for minors.

g) Old passport for replacement.

h) Parents National ID cards and copy.

3) 64 Pages Ordinary "C" Series Kshs. 7,550

4) East African Passport Kshs. 990

5) Diplomatic passport (48 page) Kshs 7,550

6) Mutilated Passport Kshs 10,050

7) Lost Passport Kshs 12,050
