After losing to Napoli in a crucial Serie A matchup last weekend, Roma will travel to Hellas Verona this weekend in Italy's top matchup. The hosts are currently ranked 19th in the league, and Salvatore Bocchetti's team is starting to struggle.
Since defeating Sampdoria, another team fighting for relegation, over two months ago, Verona has gone without a victory. In fact, they've only managed to score four goals since then and have allowed 12 to be scored on them, with two of those goals coming in each of their last six losses.
Roma, meanwhile, narrowly defeated HJK on Thursday night in the Europa League thanks to a goal from Tammy Abraham, who has been struggling to find the back of the net this year. The team led by Jose Mourinho is currently fifth in Serie A and appears to be doing well in the Europa League as well.
However, Salernitana, AC Milan, and Udinese all defeated them 2-1, resulting in their fourth straight loss. Following the 2-1 victory over Sampdoria, they were defeated by Fiorentina and Lazio by scores of 2-0.
For this prediction: AS Roma to win and correct score (0-2).
