The following is an analysis of five matches that will be played on Saturday, the 1st of October.
The Spanish champions have gone 11 competitive matches unbeaten at the Wanda Metropolitano. Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman remains under extreme pressure after 3-0 UCL hammering by Benfica on Wednesday.
My prediction: Atletico Madrid will win
19:30 Leipzig vs Bochum
Bochum have secured just one victory from their first six Bundesliga matches. Meanwhile Leipzig impressed in a 6-0 victory over Hertha last weekend.
My prediction: Leipzig will win
19:30 Brighton vs Arsenal
Brighton missed their chance to go top of the EPL table after drawing 1-1 with Crystal Palace last time out. Meanwhile, their opponents Arsenal recorded a 3-1 north London derby win against fierce rivals Tottenham.
My prediction: over 1.5 match goals
17:00 Chelsea vs Southampton
Chelsea's 1-0 premier league defeat to Manchester City was arguably the biggest setback they've had since Tuchel took over earlier this year. They will be desperate to come back.
My prediction: Chelsea will win
14:30 Manchester United vs Everton
That man Cristiano Ronaldo delivered once again in midweek to hand Man U a crucial UEFA Champions League victory in a fixture they struggled to shine in. They return to EPL action here against Everton but they should be feeling confident as they have avoided defeat against the Merseysiders at Old Trafford in 11 of the last 12 encounters.
My prediction: Manchester United will win
