RACING CLUB V SPORTING CRISTAL
The CONMEBOL Libertadores starts again this week, as we take a look at one of the matches that will be sure to grab your attention - so stick with us!
Racing Club host - meaning the game will take place in Argentina. They have been relatively pretty good in their latest few games, apart from one little dint in their form. Their most recent win against Colon in the league will have them believe they can overcome this obstacle.
Sporting Cristal hail from Peru, and they are currently residing in the first spot of their top-flight league, after a very good run, only donning one loss and the rest being wins. The standard of each team’s respective leagues might be very different, and we consider the Argentine league of a higher standard.
We believe strongly that the Racing Club will prove to be too strong for the visitors.
Prediction: Over 2.5 Goals
MANCHESTER UNITED V ROMA
Manchester United welcomes Roma to Old Trafford for the first leg of an intriguing Europa League semi-final contest.
Both sides come into this match having failed to win at the weekend, with United held to a drab draw at Leeds while Roma suffered a 3:2 loss against Cagliari.
Still, it is the home side who should be favoured here with Roma struggling in recent weeks, winning just 1 of their last 7 matches in all competitions.
Of course, Roma will be expected to raise their game for this huge tie, but ultimately, United have the experience and quality to edge a tight first leg.
Prediction: Both teams to score
