On Sunday,December 18, the world was treated to a spectacular and iconic 2022 World Cup final match between Argentina and France in Qatar.
In the game, Argentina beat France 4-2 on penalty kicks after the latter's Kylian Mbappe's hat-trick ensured the game ended level following extra time.
President William Ruto and his wife Rachel also bet on the game. Whereas Ruto was rooting for France, the First Lady was for Argentina.
Even though they did not specify the amount, the person who lost the bet was to pay the other a good amount of cash.
