"The Gambling Paybills In Kenyan Radio Stations Are Too Much" - Radio Presenter Ali Hassan

Radio Maisha renowned 'Nuru ya Lugha' and sports presenter Hassan Mwana wa Ali has come out to criticize Kenyan radio stations for filling the air with gambling pay bills promising listeners instant financial success.

In the recent times, gambling in Radio stations in Kenya have gone too much. It is too hard to listen to a radio station for 10 straight minutes without hearing the presenter talking about a pay bill that the listeners should send money to if they want to be rich instantly.

This seems to have frustrated Ali Hassan who himself in the radio station he works for; Radio Maisha has been forced to promote the gambling act to his listeners. Taking to his Facebook page, the Swahili sports journalist shared with his followers that he listened to ten radio stations in the morning and all of them were talking about pay bills.

Mr Hassan though, came to the defense of his fellow journalists reminding his followers that the presenters had nothing to do with the pay bills since they are just doing what their bosses directs them to do.

The question that most Kenyans are now asking is that how comes there's no known winner who has ever come out to confirm that he or she won despite hundreds of Kenyans 'winning' everyday. The question now begs, are Kenyans being conned? '

If it is true that it is con game going on, then why has KCLB continued to give out licences to these gambling companies? Why has the government allowed these companies to manipulate the already miserable Kenyans? Truly there are more question than answers.

Kenyans who have been fed up by the gambling pay bills have since decided to switch to the few remaining radio stations that do not promote the gambling games.

Personally I always wonder how feasible is it to give out almost half a million in just one show. You find out that in a single day, a radio station gives out five million in the name of money won by unsuspecting Kenyans who go broke sending hundreds of shillings to the pay bills.

If you are reading this, I strongly advise you to never send money to these pay bills. Chances are high Kenyans are being conned. Do the radio station you tune in to have these gambling pay bills? Please let us know in the comments and let us know you feelings about it. Please follow and share the article, thank you.
