SCUNTHORPE V EXETER
Tuesday’s football match pits together Scunthorpe United and Exeter City, the two teams who sit in the opposite halves of the table. Scunthorpe occupy 17th position in the standings, but, as things stand now, they should not find it hard to secure the League Two survival.
The visitors, on the other hand, aim to climb to the playoffs, and I am positive that they will go for a win in the midweek clash. The visitors want this win more than the mid-table hosts, and I predict that Exeter, who crushed Leyton 4-0 on Saturday, are going to pick up all three points from the match.
Prediction: Exeter win
PORT VALE V OLDHAM
Port Vale will be aiming to put an end to their three-game losing run in the League Two when they take on Oldham Athletic. They suffered a dip in form, with the team losing each of their previous three league fixtures, and, no doubt, they are low on confidence ahead of the visit of Oldham. You should bear in mind that Port Vale failed to find the net in three of their previous four league fixtures.
The visitors, on the other hand, failed to impress in a goalless draw with Southend United. Since they had no more than one shot on target in the draw, I don't believe that Port Vale will have a better chance than this to return to winning ways. In the first half of the season Port Vale recorded a 2-1 win over Oldham.
Prediction: Both teams to score
