Nissan X-trail is more fuel efficient than the Harrier. In the city, it can make up to 41% less fuel consumption and for the highway is 5% less compared to Toyota Harrier.
The Harrier can hold more weight since the maximum allows 2700kg for Harrier compared to 2170kg of the X-trail.
But the maximum trunk space of X-trail carries 1773kg which is 11% more than Harrier, as roof load also is 20% more.
Some interesting features in the X-trail which the Harrier lacks include, apple car play, intelligent driver alertness, high beam assist, rain sensing wipers,tyre pressure monitoring system, rear cross traffic alert and moving object detection.
4). Engine transmission and performance
The piston diameter of the X-trail is 84millimeters, smaller than 94mm of the Harrier. Piston strokes for the X-trail are also longer which is why the X-trail is more fuel efficient.
