Mike Mbuvi Sonko, a former governor of Nairobi, is now one of the richest politicians in Kenya.

The wealthy politician is well-known for his tendency to display his wealth by dressing and driving in ostentatious style.

Kdrtv investigates the ex-collection governor’s of luxury vehicles.

First, there’s the Cadillac Escalade

One of the most luxurious sport utility vehicles ever built.

This vehicle has become iconic due to its frequent portrayal in media alongside members of the security services and politicians. Costing more than Ksh 8 million, the white SUV is a luxury item.

The Second Generation Toyota Land Cruiser V8

The ex-governor has a fleet of modified Toyota Land Cruiser 200 series SUVs.

It has a massive front grille and is said to weigh 2.7 tons. It has impressive off-road abilities thanks to its powerful V8 engine (4.5 liters). This vehicle will set you back around 14,000,000 KSH.

Lexus LX570, No. 3

A 5.7-liter V8 engine (383 horsepower, 403 lb-ft of torque) is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission in this vehicle.

The LX is well-known for its off-road prowess, and this is due in large part to its 8.9-inch ground clearance and five different multi-terrain settings. Depending on the extent of personalization, the price was around Ksh 15 million.

2018 Nissan Patrol, position four

This monster sits in the governor’s garage, proving his love for high-powered SUVs.

The 2018 model year brings a fresh look and several Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety enhancements.

The Patrol is not only powerful, but also stylish. Complete with off-road sensors, a home-like ride, and a 5.6L V8 engine, this vehicle is ready for any terrain.

A pair of 8.0-inch screens are built into the front seat headrests, and there are USB ports in the back.

The Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet 2018

This Mercedes is powered by a 3.0-liter V6 engine that is both turbocharged and supercharged, resulting in 329 horsepower and 354 pound-feet of torque.

It’s a luxury convertible that, at the touch of a button, becomes an open-air roadster. Beginning at roughly Ksh6.7 million, this work of art is available for purchase.
