The Amounts Of Money You Will Be Charged By NTSA For Second Hand Motor Vehicle Transfer Of Ownership.
After buying a second hand vehicle in Kenya and transferring the ownership of the vehicle following all the set procedures by the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA), you will be required to pay for the vehicle transfer cost and this varies depending with the engine capacity of the vehicle.
Below are the costs:-
Transfer fees of car's with engine capacity not more than 1000 CC is 1660 Ksh.
Transfer fees of car's with engine capacity between 1001 to1200 CC is 1890 Ksh.
Transfer fees of car's with engine capacity between 1201 to 1500 CC is 2065 Ksh.
Motor vehicles with engine capacity of between 1501 to 1700 CC is 2410 Ksh.
Motor vehicles with engine capacity of between 1701 to 2000 CC is 2695 Ksh.
Those with engine capacity of between 2001 to 2500 is 3845 Ksh.
Those with engine capacity of between 2501 to 3000 is 5055 Ksh.
Those motor vehicles with engine capacity above 3001 is 5915 Ksh.
For trailers, those with four wheels or less costs 1030 Ksh while those vehicles with more than four wheels costs 1890 Ksh and for tractors, they goes for 1030 Ksh.
