Drama has been witnessed along kiambu road after a toyota a pickup that was transporting alchol overtuned and residents in celebration flocked the scene stealing the alcohol.
One of the resident James Mbugua who was along the busy road said the vehicle was over speeding before it lost control hitting a barrier and rolled to the center of the road.
"We heard an extremely huge bang after tyres were heard screeching, after a close look we saw the vehicle over turned in the middle of the highway as we ran to try and rescue the occupants, he said.
On reaching the scene one was welcome by broken bottles and a stech of alcohol with two men sreaming for help inside the wrecked vehicle.
Residents who acted first tried to save the duo who were bady injured with several cuts where they were bleeding profusely.
However after saving the two men sources have it the resident started looting from the vehicle and before police arrived the damage was already done as much of the alcohol was already gone.
Police from kiambu police station have toured the scene and tried to control the huge lane of traffic and the alcohol thirsty residents who have flocked the scene.https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=140798161017640&id=100317008399089
