KDF's Most Powerful Truck

Kenya Defense Forces joined fellow AMISOM soldiers to restore peace to the Horn of Africa on October 16, 2011. The mission has faced a number of challenges, which the government and other well-wishers have worked to resolve. Logistics, personnel safety, and intelligence gathering are among the issues that receive increasing emphasis.

Heavy-duty vehicles for logistics, drones for data collecting, and armored personnel carriers for troop safety have all been purchased and commissioned by Kenya's government. Today, we'll take a look at the heavy-duty truck used by this deadly brigade. In this case, the juggernaut is MACK, which is widely utilized by the US military.

It has the capacity to haul 30 tons of goods and pull an extra 20 tons of ordnance. The truck has an improvised explosive device survivability of 80%, making it excellent for troop relocation. Although the exact number of Mack Super Liner trucks in Kenya is unknown, the country possesses around 150 of them.

It comes with an 8-speed manual transmission and a 450-horsepower turbocharged diesel engine.
