Car parts theft has become a great challenge to many car owners driving along busy highways. This vulnerability has been brought by numerous thefts mostly on busy highways that attract jams. With the slow moving traffics, thugs have had an opportunity to perform their heinous acts that leave car owners at risk. Some of the parts that have been mostly targeted being; Company logos ,mudguards, side mirrors and wipers.
Following these demoralizing acts, a solution has been brought about through riveting. Riveting is a permanent mechanical fastener aimed at holding together these easily removable car parts. It's done by joining together the parts using a rivet, which is placed in a drilled hole and a tail that is bucked so that it can hold the rivet in place.
Of the greatest advantages apart from securing your machine is;
-Cost effectiveness as compared to welding that requires electricity or use of metal adhesives that is costly.
-The durability that comes with riveting too is worth emulating since rivets are resistant to corrosion, moisture and chemicals.
-Rivets are easily and manually replaceable.
Secure your car!
