How Long It takes To Get A Driving Licence In Kenya.

A lot of Kenyans dream of owning a car at a particular point in their life. Before you start dreaming of owning a car in Kenya, it is important to know how to drive a vehicle. This is because there is no need of owning a car if you are going to pay someone to drive it for you. After all, you are not in the capacity to do so since you lack the knowledge of driving a car.

Currently, driving a car is very easy. This is because most cars come with an automatic transmission which is much easier to understand compared to a manual transmission. Even though you can learn how to drive without attending a driving school, you must visit one so that you can easily get your driving license.

There are many driving schools in Kenya which will charge a minimum of Ksh 10,000 to a maximum of Ksh 25,000 defending on the vehicle to teach you how to drive. If you are good at driving, you might only take one month in a driving school. Afterwards, you will take a driving test by the NTSA and proceed to apply for your license once you pass the test. On average, you will receive your license after 14 working days.
