A car-aircraft that is equiped with BMW engine and runs on a regular petrol-pumb fuel was developed by the Klein Vision Company in Slovakia. On 28th June 2021, the prototype flying car completed a 35 minutes flight test successfully between Nitra and Bratislava international airports in Slovakia.

According to its manufacturer, Prof. Stefan Klein, the aircraft car can fly to about 1000km at a height of 2500m and has taken upto 40 hours in air so far.

The car takes about 2 minutes and 15 seconds to transform into an aircraft. That is, for it's narrow wings to fold down along the sides.

During its test on 28 June, Prof. Stefan Klein drove the aircar on the runway before it took off in air to a cruising speed of 170km/h. He described the experience as 'Normal.' The car can carry 2 people with a limit weight of 200kg.

For many years, there has been an increased market and demand for cars that can move on both land and air. "There are about 40,000 orders of such aircrafts in United States alone." Anton Zajac, an adviser and investor in Klein Company said. This will therefore lead to the increase in the development of such cars and hence, the company with develop and expand worldwide.
