Pain and grief has grazed lamu County after a family has been camping by the shores of the ocean looking for the body of one of their kins.
According to sources the family of a young man now identified as Shaffi Omari aged 26 has been spending most of their time at Oceans searching for his remains.
Shaffi went missing six days ago after he went swimming in the ocean, its was however confirmed that the young man had drowned and relevant authorities toured the scene as they tried to retrieve his body.
According to the young man's family they have spent days at the ocean and all means to recover his body have bore no fruits.
The family is however requesting for the government to help in recovering the young man's body so that the family can get some closure.
This Bizarre incident comes barely months after two family members succumbed in the same ocean after a car they were driving in plunged into the ocean from the ferry.
It took several days as the government and divers struggled night and day to retrieve the bodies of the two a mother and her child.
We do hope the family is accorded the relevant help both from the county and the national government.
