Mourners who attended the student's funeral on Friday
Addressing the Media , Ikoba area clan elder Richard Nyakundi said the numbers expected to attend the funeral of Kenyatta University student Belden Nyabuto surpassed 2,000 mark against the government rules in the fight against the spread of corona virus.
"We were shocked about the mourners who attended today's funeral (Friday) at Ikoba but we had nothing to do" said Irina
" And we saw if the crowd was to be separated by police officers chaos were to commence but it was peaceful" he added
Belden who was buried on Friday was a member of a family choir morning forgiven singers and a 4th year student at Kenyatta university.
He died last week through road accident and he was laid to rest on Friday at Ikoba Bomachoge Kisii county
