Residents of Tassia estate in Embakasi Ward, Embakasi East Constituency on Friday 16 October ,have been awaken by the screaming of the victims at 2: 30 A.m this morning. Through the eye witnesses the source of the problem had not been confirmed yet. Several families have been left out.

There was no injuries nor death.The fire is reported to have broken out at around 2:30 a.m in this morning with residents mobilising themselves to put off the fire.

A number of residents are now stranded with no place to sleep after their houses were burned down by the huge flame. As per now no firefighters have arrived to the scene. The huge inferno have been contained by the residents with the help of the police officers who were patrolling the area due to curfew hours.
Investigations have been launched into the cause of the fire but residents suspect that it was caused by an electrical fault. Residents had to camp outside a private school around waiting for any assistance from any welwishers.
