There was a tragic accident along southern bypass near Alliance Footbridge that left one person in a critical condition.
According to the source, the accident involved a black Toyota fielder. The driver flaunted some of the traffic rules by over speeding, the vehicle veered off the road and rammed into a rail bar that saved the car from getting into Ondiri Swamp. Good Samaritans rushed to the scene to rescue the injured victim. He was taken to the hospital for treatment, we wish him a quick recovery. 
Police officers came to investigate the cause of the accident, the vehicle was dragged to police station for inspection. Cases of road accidents have become rampant in the country, this comes few hours after another accident claimed the life of a famous musician.
Drivers and road users are advised to be extra careful. They are urged to adhere to the road safety Measures put in place by the government, in collaboration with the Ministry of Road and Transport Network. Drive safe, save lives.
