A truck driver escape a dead by whisker after angry bodaboda operators sale a blaze a transit lorry belonging to unidentified company.
According to the residents the lorry hit and killed a local resident in Annex trading center near Stabex before attempting to run away prompting the chase from bodaboda operators who got him in Eldoret town.
The incident that happened along Eldoret-Nakuru highway today Wednesday evening affected a lot of motorists who were plying the route.
However efforts by Uasin-Gishu Fire brigade to rush to the scene arrived when the lorry had been engulfed by huge flames .
The highway which is ever busy passes through Eldoret town connecting Kenya and Uganda and and the Annex centre is one of the growing centres after Cheptiret as many long distance truck drivers takes their rest before proceeding with their journey.
The bodaboda operators who are always known to be operating as groups and protects their members and famously known in assaulting when their members are provoked or hurt.
However some motorist have been accusing the operators claiming that they are reckless when using the roads with had generated animosity between them and other road users .
The bodaboda operators who have been facing blanket condemnations from kenyans pointing that they have been hiding some criminals as some commits crimes and fled using motorbikes while some operators have been clashing with security agencies or county governments.
