Gone Too Soon! Death Strikes Throwing Legal Fraternity In Mourning

Death is inevitable we can never run away away from it no matter how we try. However, it is a respecter of no man as it takes the lives of both the poor and the rich. If we could only bribe death then most of our loved ones would still be alive by now but we can never know when death will strike as it is unpredictable.

It is indeed sad and heartbreaking as the Chief Justice David Maraga and legal fraternity has been thrown into mourning following the death of a nominee judge of Employment and Labor Relations Court Harrison Ogweno Okeche who succumbed to death to injuries in a road accident. Chief Justice announced his death and he wrote,

“It is with great sadness that I have learnt of the demise of Mr. Harrison Ogweno Okeche, a long-standing legal practitioner who was waiting to join the judiciary as a judge of the Employment and Labour relations court. On behalf of the Judicial Service Commission, the Judiciary, my family and on my behalf, I wish to express our heartfelt condolences to his family and the legal fraternity for this terrible loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time."

We send our heartfelt condolences to the family members and legal fraternity. May they find strength during this hard time. May his soul rest in peace.
